Beginnings of troubadours in Provence

The Order of Sion, according to Lobineau, was founded by Godefroy de Bouillon in 1090. Godefroy was a medieval Frankish knight who was one of the leaders of the First Crusade from 1096 until his death. He was the Lord of Bouillon, from which he took his byname. Other sources have the creation of the order after the conquering of Jerusalem at the end of the first Crusade.
